We had a unique installation for a pool owner where they had a flat yard until it came to the edge of the pool deck. The ground then dropped away, almost four feet down a hill.
I secured the first post of the fence at the bottom of the hill. I then had to dig into the hill approximately three feet to where the next post would go. I then doubled posted the second post a foot higher. I used cement and rebar for stability. From there I was able to chop into the hill gradually, until I reached the pool deck. The remaining holes were cemented so the fence holes could be drilled and set securely. The client was very pleased with the finished result.
